What is a Homeschool Co-op?
A homeschool co-op is a community of families who share teaching, fellowship, and resources so homeschooling is not done alone. What makes MOCC unique is our Christ-centered worldview, parent-led classes, and warm, family-style atmosphere where everyone contributes.
Christ-Centered
Faith in Jesus is the foundation of our community, classes, and service.
Parent-Led
Parents teach, assist, and serve in roles that fit their gifts and schedules.
Weekly, In-Person
We gather once a week for classes, fellowship, and shared activities.
Why Join MOCC?
- Classes for nursery through high school

- Field trips, events, and opportunities to serve
- Leadership development for parents and teens
- A place where your family is known and supported
Member Expectations
- Be actively homeschooling
- Agree with our Statement of Faith
- Have a parent/guardian on-site during co-op days
- Serve in a teaching or support role
- Pay yearly registration and class fees
We also encourage volunteering on committees and helping with set-up/clean-up to bless the body.
How It Works
We meet once per week at Church of God of Licking County, 2181 Riggs Road, Newark, OH 43055 — every Thursday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Parents remain on-site and rotate roles to help around co-op. You can choose from core subjects, electives, and enrichment based on your children’s ages and interests.

What does it cost?
Fees vary by family and classes selected. See the Join page for current registration and class fee details.
What ages do you serve?
From nursery through high school. Offerings may vary each semester; check the Class Catalog.
