Our Vision
Sixteen years ago, Mid-Ohio Christian Co-op was established to serve the needs of a community of families. Even though we have grown from that small group to a community that has served thousands of families over the years, we still seek to keep that close community of families partnering together in home education.
As we began the next step in our future planning, we underwent a collaborative and community-driven process to develop our next three years'strategic plan. This plan establishes a clear vision for serving our community and fulfilling our mission. It acts as a guide for the future direction of the co-op while building upon past plans with our mission as the cornerstone: We are a community of students and families who desire to glorify God by uplifting, encouraging, equipping, and supporting home-educating families to disciple young men and women of character, influencing the world for Jesus Christ.
Our Strategic Plan was based on strong community engagement and input. This benefits the MOCC in five main ways:
-
Creates a clear vision
-
Allows the co-op community to drive the future
-
Determines what is most important to the co-op community
-
Establishes actionable goals and projects moving forward
-
Gives opportunities for continued interaction through planned updates and changes
