Karla Schaefer To All Instructors

Karla Schaefer lives on her family farm in Coshocton County after her husband retired from the Marine Corps in 2019. She has a BSW and has been homeschooling since her eldest daughter—who graduated from Liberty University in 2025—was in 3rd grade. She is now in her final year of homeschooling. Karla has always loved science because it is a window into God’s amazing creation and order. She has a bent toward classical and lifelong learning and desires to challenge students to do hard things well for God’s glory. Karla also serves on the MOCC board as the Library Trustee.
